About the Author

Claude Marceau lives in Alma, in the heart of the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region.
An IT worker and writer at heart, he has chosen to put his pen in the service of memory and emotion.

His books tell true stories filled with humanity — notably his journey as a caregiver for his mother, who is living with Alzheimer’s disease.
In When Alzheimer Interferes, he shares, with tenderness and clarity, the challenges, the bursts of laughter, and the small everyday miracles that shape their life together.

Through his Life Capsules, Claude invites us to discover another side of his world: humorous anecdotes inspired by his own experiences. These slices of life — sometimes funny, sometimes touching — offer a sincere and compassionate look at the passing of time, human relationships, and the small moments that make life rich.

With an authentic voice, both sensitive and warm, Claude Marceau writes to preserve memory, but also to celebrate life in all its forms.
